They brought Uncas and started to speak with they. Some soldiers ran forward to throw Uncas into the great fire, but they stared at Unca´s chest, and pointed to the blue tortoise on it. Uncas is the great grandson of a chief. He and his father are the last one Mohicans. Then he cut the rope os Hawk eye and Hawk eye said that he killed some of their kind but neve Delawares. Magua brought Cora and Heyward offerts he some bullets, gold etc... but the Hawk eye tell he to had his rifle, Magua didn´t accept nothing and return to his Village. Delaware´s camp were ready to follow Uncas to attack the Hurons with Heyward and Hawk eye at his side. When they saw a figure in the forest Uncas said Hawk eye to kill he but he was the singing teacher. Gamut tell where were the Hurons and Cora. Hawk eye went to take with the singing teacher Chingachgook and Munro and attack from the side and Uncas from the front. Uncas Hawk eye Heyward and Gamut follow Magua in the battlefield, Uncas started to fight against Magua, but they killed Cora and Uncas when Hawk eye Heyward and Gamut appeared. Hawk eye took his rifle Kill-deer and shot Magua who fell down. Delawares won the battle and had burnt the Huron village. The whole tribe mourned the deaths of Uncas and Cora, Tamenund teh chief os Delawares said he have live to see the last of the Mohicans.

Chapter 9: Magua, Huron chief
The Huron guards came closer in the Unca´s prison and looked at their prisoner. They saw his face, and they were very angry. Gamut sang and the guard ran out of the prison to the camp and comunicate that their prisoner´s escape. Then they found Magua who was really angry, they want the Mohican die. They decide to attack their enemies and they would have a great victory, and it was decided that Magua should be the chief. Then twenty indians came to Magua, one of the Hurons had the Beaver as his tótem. Magua asked for help to attack the Delaware. The Hurons marched on towards the village of the Delawares, they were allies of the French, but one time the Delawares refused the help of the French. French decide didn´t help Hurons. In the village of the Delawares they saw a figure and they welcomed him. He saw that he was Magua, he asked about their prisoner but he couldn´t get nothing, he gave they some necklace of the british people that they killed. Finally he could get an answer and the Delawares got it, they bring Heyward, Haek eye (Long rifle, Cora, and Alice. The Dalawares before they wanted to give what Magua asked, the had to talk with someone first.

Chapter 8: A bear to the rescue
When the torch hit the floor and wnt out all the indians in the hut ran outside. A Huron warrior entered was Magua. When they saw Uncas as prisoner all cried because he is well-known between day, they decided to kill them and put him in a prison, Heyward followed him and saw a figure of a Bear, he was Hawk eye, Gamut said Heyward the woman you are looking for is near. He son found her. Heayward said she to marry with he and she said that it´s not time. Magua was behind. They carried Alice to the room, took the blancket and put it over Alice. Then Heyward, Hawk eye and Alice reached the forest and they went to recue Uncas. Gamut led Hawk eye to the prison in the Huron´s village and he explained that the medicine man wanted to blow on the prisoner to make sure by magic. Gamut and Hawk eye Exchange clothes, Uncas went to the bear suite and Gamut were uncas. They led the hut, when they were walking in the forest, they Heard a cried from the Huron´s camp. Hawk eye pulled two rifles from under a bush and said: Now we are ready for them.

Chapter 7: In to the Huron camp
Once they had left their canoe, Hawk-eye, the two Mohicans Heyward and Munro travelled on over land. They were crossing that wild country. Hawk-eye looked around for the tracks of Magua but without succes. They started to follow the tracks and they came to a lake. They decided to explore in froups Uncas and Chingachgook, Hawk eye and Munro and Heyward alone. Heyward was going to give a bird call, to warn the other when he sawe the figure of an Indian. Hawk eye appeared at Heyward´s side. He isn´t a Huron. Hawk eye move closer and closer to the strange figure, when suddenly there came a loud noise of something hitting the wáter. The dark shapes disappeared into the lake and swam off. They found the singing teacher dressed as Huron. Magua were hunting. Cora is with a tribe who lived beyond that mountain over there and Alice with the Huron women. Gamut pretend to be a crazy French actor from a travelling theatre group. You go to Delawares and sabe Cora. They reached the Huron camp. Huron fighters nosily and heyward left the hut to see what was happening. A group of Huron men stood there with two prisoners. One was a Huron and the other one was Uncas the Mohican. An old woman came close. She drove a knife into the Shaking Huron´s heart.

Chapter 6: Tracks from the battlefield
The Fort William Henry was now a black smocking ruin. The battlefield was full of lifeless bodies. The French army had destroyed the british place. Uncas, Chingachgook, Munro, Hawk eye and Heyward were searching for Cora and Alice. Suddenly they realised that the girls were in Magua´s hands. At night, there were shots on the battlefield. Next morning, the Mohicans decided to look for the girls and they got into the canoe. They found a fire above the tres but arly they were attacked by Hurons. Finally, the Mohicans, Heyward, Munro and Hawk-eye arrived at the forest and the Hurons lost their trail.

Chapter 5: The siege of Fort William Henry
When Heyward, Alice and Cora were in Fort William Henry, Hawk eye and the mohicans left at onceon other business. They were under the attack from Frenchs and when they stoped to do a truce, the French were with Hawk eye, he was as prisoner. Heyward spoken to Munro about the soldiers of General Webb, but there was a letter saying that he could´t send soldiers to help they, they had lo leave the Fort. The truce with the French and they go out of the Fort. The hurons came with they and in the way, they started to kill children and women, the massacre of the Brithis people. Magua took Alice and cora in two horses and run through the woods and Gamut rode after them.

Chapter 4: Safe again
Hawk eye, Uncas and Chingachgook started to fight wth the hurons, all of the Hurons were dead and Magua and Chingachgook where fighting in a slope, Magua lost the fight and rolled down the slape. They rested and then started to moved off towards Fort William. They stoped in a house that the Mohicans bulit to be safe during the wars of the tribes. In the night they saw about twenty Hurons coming Through the tres. They walked away again and went to Fort William, suddenly Heard someone marching towards him. A French soldier asked and then started to shoot. Finally they were in Fort William Henry with General Munro.

Chapter 3: Magua´s Plans
Heyward and the other were in the cave and put some branches and put them on the passage, a Huron cry outside the main entrance to the cave. Hurons couldn´t find they but Alice opened her mouth and she screamed, Magua was there and Heyward turn into her friend and shooted he, the noise put on alert the other Hurons and the Hurons discovered they. They asked for Hawk eye and Heyward told it. Heyward said they´ve got as prisoners the sons of the General and Magua said to Cora that they will left his friends free if she became Magua´s wife, she cried, Heywards ran betwen them and wrestled him to the ground, the Huron was stronger tan Heyward and when he wanted to kill he, a shot gave in the Huronand fell dead.

Chapter 1: The Indian guide
In this chapter the General Webb the commander of Fort Edward decide to send 1.500 of soldiers to General Munro cause a huge french army is going to fight with them, a small group as same as the soldiers goes to General Munro, the three rode off following the indian runner, they were 2 women, 1 officer, and Heyward, the indian runner was Magua. They decide to go by herself. In this way appeared the strange man riding a young horse Heyward Smiled, the stranger is a singing teacher, he go with they to Fort William Henry. At a river´s edge were two man talking, Indian and White man. Then another Young boy come to join them. They met with Heyward and start to talk about the path for Fort William Henry because his Indian had lost, and these indians go to find it, Magua run and they shot after him, but Magua had already dissappeared into the tres

Chapter 2: Behind the waterfall
Hawk eye began to chase Magua, Heyward offerts they money to take they to Fort Williams because they are in danger from the Hurons, and Hawk Eyes and his two friends accept but they must promise two things: keep as still and silent as the forest and never to tell another living person the way to our hiding place. They let the horses go free and kill the singer´s horse because is very Young and make a lot of noise. The pulled a canoe and go to the waterfall and then the mohicans and the White scout enter in a cave. As the first light of the day they returned to travell, Huron rifles shot at Gamut, they satrted to shoot, Hurons stolen the canoe, then Hawk eyes and Chingachgook and Uncas dropped into the river and swam off leaving Cora, Alice Heyward and Gamut in the cave to tell Cora´s father to come with an army to save him.

James Fenimore Copper author of The last of the Mohicans
James Fenimore Cooper : nació en(Burlington, Nueva Jersey, 15 de septiembre de 1789 - Cooperstown (Nueva York), 14 de septiembre de 1851) fue un novelista estadounidense. Escribió treinta y cuatro novelas de aventuras, en las cuales relata la vida de los pioneros y sus enfrentamientos con los pieles rojas. Destacan Los pioneros (1823), El último mohicano (1826), La Pradera (1827), El trampero (1840) y El cazador de ciervos (1841).
Se educó en Albany, Nueva York, y en Yale (New Haven, Connecticut), de donde fue expulsado por una falta menor. A pesar de eso, en su paso por esas instituciones formó amistades y relaciones con varias familias aristocráticas.
